Just one LO

I haven't been up to much recently, there's a few little projects that I'm trying to catch up on, like my UKS Team's CJ and very excitingly I've got a paid comission to do a minibook for a friends daughter, so I've been sourcing stash for that. I did manage to do the weekly challenge on UKS this week, which I really enjoyed, using a photo that I had taken for PwL.
And talking about PwL, boy is it a tough class - I spend almost all my time thinking about what photos to take! This week's module is 'People' and the girls are getting quite sick of me pointing the camera at them and asking them to pose nicely. I normally end up with their tounges being stuck out at me and silly smiles!! Need to find other things to photograph next week!

Some shopping and some photos ..

I know I'm a bit late posting, but I thought I'd share with you what I bought at the Big Stamping & Scrapbooking Show last week. I only had a few things on my shopping list, particularly some paints and come home with some stamps, Sassafralass paper and other bits & pieces. I did a couple of workshops (and got some fab Banana Frog freebie stamps) and met up with a couple of my teamies - Steph & Karen and some other UKS friends - Laura, Rachel & Leanne.

I've since bought some more Sassafralass paper, so need to find some photos to scrap.

Thought I'd also share with you my photos for Module 2 of PwL, which was all about texture. I've had some good feedback on them, so chuffed with that. I had a story behind the photos which was 'What I did before I discovered Scrapbooking'.

I have done a couple of LOs this week which I'll try and upload tomorrow.

3 days in a row ..

and I'm blogging again! Firstly a couple more PwL photos to share - I gave up on the girls and found subjects that didn't move!

Also another LO for No Place Like Home - a scraplift from Shimelle. The prompt for to scrap your favourite room, which for me is the family room aka my craft room! The journaling reads "I can play with ribbon all day long if I want too!"

We've had Snow!

Can't quite believe it, but when I opened the curtains today there it was. My first thought? Better get some photos to scrap! My second thought? How can I incorporate my first assignment for Painting with Light (PwL) into them!

So here's my first couple

Managed another LO for No Place Like Home - which I've unashamedly scraplifted from Shimelle.

F is for Friends & Fridges

I'm a bit behind on a few creative challenges so I spent some time catching up yesterday. Firstly the F pages for the girls' A-Z journals on Friends. I did the E pages at the beginning of the month, but found them a bit uninspiring so decided not to upload them, they're on their eating habits.
The stamp on the tag is from my new Scarlet Lime kits- and oh my there is loads and loads in it I feel slightly overwhelmed by it.

The second challenge I caught up on was Overlooked which was on my Fridge and shopping habits. I've done 3 LOs for this now and I'm going to start constructing it into a minibook soon.

My two new classes started this week - firstly 'No Place Like Home' (which I plan to use all my Scarlet Lime kit on). There have been 5 daily prompts this week, but as the girls are on their Easter holidays at the moment, I'm saving them to work on when they go back to school. The theme this week has been Hometowns or places where you feel at home and includes a couple of LOs and 2 minibooks.

The second class is Painting with Light, which doesn't actually start until 4th April but we've had homework to upload to the forum so that CJ can get a feel for our work. This included a self-portrait and for a laugh I'll post it here. It was my first time using the self timer and a tripod and so the result is slightly out of focus.
