Bloggers weekend ...

... but firstly I seem to have lost a month! February has flown past whilst being busy handing over at my Customer Support work and settling into my fabulous new role.As I get into my stride I'm hoping for lots more creative time.

And to kick start that all I had a fabulous weekend at the YHA Milton Keynes, organised by Lizzie, with 16 wonderful like-minded people and I've made some lovely new friends.
I had lots to eat (that was just lunch) ...

demolished Mel's amazing Malteser cake ...

and had lots of late night crafting and chat especially with Jennifer, who was great company.

Although I thought I might have been more productive, completing 5 layouts, it took me awhile to get into my stride. And I got lots of inspiration, learnt some new skills and have a shopping list the length of my arm!

This is my favourite page from the weekend, scraplifted from Margrethe Aas Johnsen's page on the cover of Scrap 365 this month.

Blogging for scrapbookers: Days 1-3...

... class started on Monday, so I thought an update was in order! Firstly, here's where I blog from:
Prompt 1 was about stating our intentions from doing this class, and simply mine are:

- to blog about more than just my layouts;
- to share interesting and useful information;
- to blog on a more regular basis;
- not to feel that I have to complete all the prompts.

And on that note onto prompt 3! This covers something that I had been thinking about doing - lists of favourites which can be done as a series such as on a weekly basis like Ali Edward's 3 Things.

I have to admit that I do spend a lot of time on the world wide web and have plenty of blogs listed in my Google Reader and I bookmark loads. So I thinking that maybe on a Sunday I'll do a list of things I found out that week - a week in review sort of thing. Watch this space!

Regular readers will know that I like sketches, so in the meantime I thought I would share my Top 5 favourite Sketch Challenge websites:

Scrapbook Challenges
52 sketches ... 52 weeks
Stuck? sketches
PencilLines
Sketchy Thursday

Thank you for stopping by, hope you'll come back soon!

Blogging for scrapbookers ...

... unless I'm crafting I never really know what to put on my blog. I'd like to include more without getting in the detail of my daily life (not particularly exciting!)

So I was really intrigued to see this class advertised by Shimelle - Blogging for Scrapbookers.

The first part of the class covers setting up a blog, making posts and 'promoting' your blog, but it's the second part I'm really interested in - 'A Year of Blogging' - a downloadable resource with a full year of blogging topics just for scrapbookers. Class starts 2nd Novemeber, so hopefully my blog will become a more interesting place for you and me!
