Scrap Your Day ...

... and I forgot!

Can't believe it, it's the first time since the project started In April last year. I'm so disappointed. Shall take pictures tomorrow instead, but it just won't be the same.

Crop output ...

... from yesterday. Went to a brand new crop in Nuneaton, and although all the ladies there already knew each other, I was made very welcome. All using various Scarlet Lime kits.

How to build the perfect snowman, based on a LO by Janine Langer in Nov 08 Creating Keepsake. Here's our kitten who's now 7 months old and doesn't look anythign like this.
And this is DD1 before going to her 1st school disco.
Close up - not sure you can see the rub on.

Butterfly Crafts Guest Designer...

... I can now share with your the LO I did for my Guest Designer spot on Butterfly Crafts. Challenge 6 is to scrap something you collect. I decided to document my daughter's obession with collecting handbags. She has more than I do and I have been known to borrow one of hers! I've tried to include lots of different textures - buttons, fabric, stitching, crocheted flowers, sequin waste and shelf lining - to reflect the handbag story.
I've been to aother new crop today, and will share the LOs tomorrow.

Still inspired ..

... by the Scarlet Lime girls on UKS to use up our kits. This LO is done with January's kit. I'm off to a crop on Sunday, so hoping to use up lots more paper, which is good as Feb's kit is on its way from the US. Yipee!

Use your stash ...

...over on the Scarlet Lime thread on UK Scrappers, we have been challenging ourselves to use up all the lovelies we get in our monthly kit. So here are a couple of LOs I've done using December's Kit. The first one is also for Challenge 5 on Butterfly Crafts about Guilty Pleasures, so I've chosen to document my love of trashy novels!

A Snapshot of My Life ...

.. yes it's a new challenge, but it actually captures some projects I wanted to do this year in one. Each month a new theme will be posted on the 'A Snapshot of My Life' blog and then for 7 days you take relevant photos. Anna then posts a LO sketch and you're off! This month was all about your routine.

12x12 Cover January Pages - I'm using some file folders I got in a Creating Keepsakes kit last year and haven't know what to do with.

I've added the quote from the blog which reads "I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind." Neil Gaiman.

I've decided to use th same concept for an album for the girls rather than doing '12 Months, 12 projects'. I'm going to use Anna's theme each month for taking photos, but the scrap them in the same style as these, using Becky Higgin's free journalling cards. They're 12x12 DLOs.

I've also been catching up with some journalling for 'Everyone Has a Story' which is the workshop I went to last November run by Shimelle. She has also started posting some new prompts to keep the album going. I've added my pages so far to an album on the sidebar.
