Not crafting....

... a weekend away, DD2's birthday last Monday, DD2 starting school yesterday and a thoroughly miserable cold has meant no time from crafting. Desperately miss it and getting quite behind with LSNED. Hope to resume soon!

... I've decided to have a facelift - bear with me as I try to change a few things!

Update - all done! I've had a steep Blogger/HTML/Photoshop learning curve today. I bought a complete Blog in a Box kit for $5.49 from Sweet Shoppe Designs, but spent a bit of time tweeking about. Luckily the kit came with very comprehensive instructions, otherwise I would have been completely stuck.

LSNED Days 11 - 13 ...

... last year when I did this project I did a page every day as soon as I had written my journalling. This year I more comfortable with doing the pages in batches as and when!

Blue skies...

... is the name of this American Craft paper and I thought it would make a good title for this LO. I always feel happy when I'm with my dad, we have such a lovely time together.

LSNED Days 9 & 10 ...

... no pictures, just journalling. I've been using some of my pages and Shimelle's sketches from last year as inspiration, so the pages are coming together quite quickly.

... not my usual colour palette, but the papers seemed to work well with my iPod case! Have done this LO for Butterfly Crafts Challenge 19 - to scrap your favourite song. Thought it would be a good idea to get iTunes to tell me what I listen to most and have made a Top 10 List from that. Have also used Stuck?! Sketches - Sept 1st sketch

LSNED Days 4 - 8

... spent the day doing my pages and I'm now bang up to date, including today's which I'm 'offically' not meant to do until tomorrow.

The Hidden journalling on this one reads "I love the rare times that I'm up and awake before the girls. I get to sit in peace and contemplate the day."

Hopefully going to try and do some normal scrapping tonight. Need to tidy my desk first!

LSNED Days 1 - 3

... home from holiday. Had such a wonderful time in Mallorca - I am definitely a person who needs blue skies. I love the UK and can't imagine living anywhere else, but I do wish we had summers like we used to. DD1 is back to school tomorrow, so it feels like we've gone straight into Autumn. For now I have a lovely tan to keep me feeling good!

So whilst we were away Learn Something New Every Day started. I kept my notebook handy and was of course taking lots of photos, so today I started playing catch up. I decided to use a Scarlet Lime date stamp and in 'Shimelle style' also do some stitching - so I'm planning to do that on each page.

I've also done Day 4, but it's too dark to take a picture - so I've just got 3 more pages to catch up and tomorrow's entry.
