Bloggers weekend ...

... but firstly I seem to have lost a month! February has flown past whilst being busy handing over at my Customer Support work and settling into my fabulous new role.As I get into my stride I'm hoping for lots more creative time.

And to kick start that all I had a fabulous weekend at the YHA Milton Keynes, organised by Lizzie, with 16 wonderful like-minded people and I've made some lovely new friends.
I had lots to eat (that was just lunch) ...

demolished Mel's amazing Malteser cake ...

and had lots of late night crafting and chat especially with Jennifer, who was great company.

Although I thought I might have been more productive, completing 5 layouts, it took me awhile to get into my stride. And I got lots of inspiration, learnt some new skills and have a shopping list the length of my arm!

This is my favourite page from the weekend, scraplifted from Margrethe Aas Johnsen's page on the cover of Scrap 365 this month.

I never did get a photo of that malteser cake - well done on the 5 pages ... more than I managed ... I kept forgetting what I was there for!

5 pages - quite an achievement.I know I would never have done that many. This is a gorgeous page, it was nice to see it in real life too. How many pretty yo-yos did you end up making? xx

I managed 1 & 1/2 pages, & 2 yo-yo barrettes, along with a stack of stamping so time well spent me thinks.
Thanks for the fabby workshop, & twas lovely meeting you in person.

So glad you had a good time this weekend - and I'm pleased you came along!
It was lovely to sit and look at your gorgeous pages, as they progressed. I always love to see your pages - I like your scrapping style very much, so being able to watch Work in Progress was a treat!
I hope you got your creative mojo back over the weekend and that it gets you off to a good start for the rest of the year. And that you will come along to the next Bloggers' Weekend.

Five pages is a great achievement for a weekend that has so much else happening too. I don't think anyone managed many photos of Mel's cake

Lovely to meet you and congrats on getting challenges done too.

I love that page. The weathered wood background paper is perfect. 5 LOs is very impressive. I got 2 done (Which I had done some prep for before I came) and a double LO which needs finishing.

I think 5 lovely pages is a great success! This one is fantastic, love that woodgrain paper and the coral + minty colours.

I had a lot of fun chatting with you all weekend, and staying up late crafting. I can't wait until we meet for another crop! x
