Julie is 2 ....

... well, at least her blog is! And to celebrate she's rounded up a group of scrappers for a game of Chinese Whispers. For those of you who don't know you create a page, take a photo and then email it to the next person on the list who takes their own inspiration from it and makes a new page. You don't get to see everyone else in the chain's pages until the grand reveal which is today.

So you should have arrived at mine via Alison's (if not you can check the full list here) who provided me with a lovely page to create from. I really liked all the layering under Alison's photo and who can resist a bit of twine!

I passed my page to Ruth, so to see what she did with it visit her here.

Please do leave a comment on every blog and then on Julie's as she's offering a prize.

Love what you did with the layout, Fay...I think it was your tutorial on adhering twine which inspired me te to use it!

Such a pretty interpretation, Fay,and so interesting to see what has sparked your enthusiasm from the previous page. As always, your clustered elements are lovely together, and I like how you've gone with the twine again. That checked background is very subtle but adds such great texture too. Lovely to look at!

This is a lovely lift, Fay, and the photo has moved across from right to left by the time it reaches me... it will be interesting to see the changes as I continue the hop!
The photo you used is beautiful, and the twine just links it together beautifully.

I like the hint of orange you've added to the mix, especially with the distressed edges on the graph-style paper.

I love all the colours you've chosen Fay and how you have left some lovely whitespace. I like the use of your twine and the lovely lil banner elements and the embellishments with sayings on them,
